Airbus has secured a contract from Air Pacific to deliver three new A330-200 aircraft as part of its plan to overhaul its long-haul fleet.

Under the contract, the new fleet will replace Air Pacific’s existing fleet of B747s and B767s with A330-200 aircraft.

The updated fleet will be operated from the Fijian airline’s Nadi base to Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.

The A330-200 aircraft will be delivered in 2013.
