AIM

Aircraft interiors company AIM Aviation has unveiled a new concept interior at the 2014 Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Germany.

The interior has been designed to boost the comfort and experience for passengers and crew, while offering open viewing into the cabin.

It features a vertically sliding video screen that secures bar-top bottles and glasses for takeoff and landing; the galleys are hidden behind smart blinds.

Screens provide a range of options for displaying goods to improve airline services, with self-service areas for passengers.

In addition, information has been made easy-to-acceess through new-technology media.

AIM Aviation Group commercial director Richard Bower said: "The continuity of design, materials and lighting creates a greater feeling of space, as the sightlines are not restricted. It has been designed as an example of a statement piece, which could be adapted and branded to suit an airline’s requirements."
