Malaysia Airports has signed a memoranda of understanding (MoU) with four major aviation companies as part of its strategy to upgrade operational efficiencies at the airport.

The first MoU was signed between Malaysia Airports and French aircraft maker and services provider Daher, which focuses on activities such as aircraft manufacturing, aerospace equipment and systems, as well as industrial logistics and services.

Malaysia Airports signed the second partnership with ExecuJet, which is part of the Luxaviation Group. EExecuJet provides aircraft management for private and commercially registered aircraft, charter, maintenance, completions management and fixed base operations.

“Every touchpoint at our airports is important to provide a positive perception and a joyful experience to passengers.”

The third agreement was signed with IER Group, which is a French subsidiary of the Bolloré Group. The firm designs, manufactures and sells solutions for passengers with a full range of self-service solutions from check-in to boarding.

Malaysia Airports signed the fourth agreement with two organisations, XPeranti and Sigfox.

Malaysia Airports chief strategy officer Azli Mohamed said: “A seamless airport journey does not only focus on the passenger’s destination. In fact, it starts right from the point when a passenger steps into the airport to board his flight.
