Global travel retailer Hudson Group has launched a kiosk that offers an assortment of reading materials, travel essentials and electronics at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT).

The kiosk, which is located near the mid-terminal area, is part of a recent ten-year joint venture contract extension that spans more than 3,540ft² in retail space.

Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport executive director Ronald Mathieu said: “Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is Arkansas’s largest commercial service airport, with nearly two million passengers annually.

As part of the airport’s $25m ongoing concourse renovation project, Hudson Group will continue to improve the terminal’s retail offerings.

Additional renovations include the Daily News pre-security store and the conversion of its existing News Exchange store to a Hudson concept. Additionally, a third Hudson store will be located by Gate 3.

Hudson Group operations senior vice-president Evan Schut said: “Hudson Group is excited to enhance our retail programme at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT) to better serve customers with the addition of our latest Hudson kiosk.

Recently, Hudson Group signed a seven-year contract extension with Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC).

As part of the contract extension, a new 2,000ft² Hudson store was opened, adding to the company’s latest openings at ROC in partnership with New York State’s $79.4m redevelopment project.
