UK-based firm Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT) has deployed the new version of its Cargo Management System (CMS) in ALS Cargo Terminal at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Named Hermes 5 (H5), the new CMS version includes Hermes Hub Management System (HMS) and Hermes Business Intelligence (HBI) and is set to be available globally over the coming months.

It is designed to modernise Hermes’ CMS framework to facilitate simple integration with new technologies and allow its opening through APIs and new messaging channels.

“The innovative design of H5 brings us a new experience in terms of service provision, performance control and user interaction.”

The quick service is expected to help ALSC and its customers through better control, hand-held device functionality, intuitive steering of warehouse tasks and real-time service level agreement (SLA) monitoring.

Hermes Logistics Technologies CEO Yuval Baruch said: “Our new version offers ALSC bespoke, pre-advice messaging between its hub and satellite warehouses to gain key task visibility and efficiencies in cargo transfer times.

“In driving the ALSC implementation, the HLT team of cargo and technical experts provided on-site support to ALSC contributing to successfully getting the system live with a number of its customers.”
