Boeing has signed a new long-term agreement with North American low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines to provide digital solutions from its Jeppesen product range.

As part of this ten-year contract, Boeing will provide various crew, flight-planning, and operations tools to the carrier.

The digital solutions will streamline crew-planning processes, enhance the airline’s operational efficiency and reliability, as well as reduce costs across regional and international routes.

Frontier Airlines flight operation vice-president Brad Lambert said: “We are fully confident that these robust Jeppesen flight-planning and operational tools will bring tremendous benefit to Frontier’s operations from day one following implementation.

“From maintenance and operational planning to day-of and irregular operations, the Jeppesen automation and crew-management tools will complement our low-cost business model while contributing to our system reliability and efficiency.”

The carrier will also leverage solutions, including flight-planning and scheduling services and crew management, tail assignment and operations-control tools.
