Singapore Airlines and SilkAir have signed a codeshare partnership deal with Air Pacific (Fiji Airways).

The agreement will provide customers of the two Singaporean airlines with access to Fiji Airways’ non-stop flights.

The deal will also provide Fiji Airways customers with access to flights operated by Singapore Airlines and SilkAir to ten destinations in Asia and Europe.

Delta Air Lines has publically issued $600m senior notes, due April 2021.

Priced at 99.952% of the principal amount, the notes will pay interest semi-annually at a rate of 3.4% a year, until they mature on 19 October 2019.

The airline has also announced a public offering of $500m senior notes, due April 2028.

The proceeds from both the offerings will be used for the repayment of existing debt and for general corporate purposes.

Jet Airways (India) has extended the existing codeshare partnership with its partner airline Japanese All Nippon Airways (ANA) to provide better services to its customers.

The extended partnership will cover ANA’s flight services between Tokyo Haneda and Singapore, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.

UK-based regional airline Loganair Limited has signed a partnership agreement with Air France-KLM.

Loganair’s customers from UK highlands and islands will be able to travel to destinations worldwide through Paris and Amsterdam as a result of the agreement.

Hong Kong Airlines and Etihad Airways have extended their existing codeshare partnership on two intercontinental services.

Pursuant to the extended codeshare agreement, Etihad will share its EY code on two services operated by its partner from Hong Kong to Los Angeles International (LAX) and San Francisco International (SFO) airports.

Saab Digital Air Traffic Solutions has secured a contract to provide digital towers to Scandinavian Mountains Airport in Sälen, Sweden.

The contractor will install Saab Remote Tower (R-TWR) system at the airport by 2019 to enable the operation of flexible digital tower services from a central location.

The company will also operate the R-TWR system for up ten years, beginning from December 2019.

The Scandinavian Mountains Airport is currently under construction and is expected to be operational by 2019.
