Rostec Technology Company has received a $5bn order from Aeroflot to deliver 50 MC-21 passenger aircraft.
The aircraft will have the capacity to accommodate 169 passengers and be delivered by Aviacapital-Service, a leasing subsidiary of Rostec, under operating leases.
Aviacapital will deliver 25 MC-21 aircraft equipped with the foreign-made engines.
Aeroflot also has an option to receive the remaining aircraft powered by Russian-made PD-14 engines.
Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled to be concluded by 2026.
CFM International has received a $200m contract from Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) for the supply of seven LEAP-1A engines for seven Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Singapore-based aircraft maintenance service provider ST Aerospace has been selected by Lufthansa for the maintenance of its MD-11 aircraft fleet.
ST Aerospace will provide comprehensive maintenance support for MD-11 aircraft for a period of five years, under the $30m contract.

SWISS currently owns 15 GTF-powered Bombardier C Series aircraft.
The deliveries are expected to begin next year.
