Deals this week: Pascal + Watson, ABM, TAP Portugal

Pascal + Watson (P+W) and a joint venture between Mott MacDonald and Ramboll have been selected by Manchester Airports Group to design a 34,000m² arrivals terminal at London Stansted Airport in the UK.

Pascal + Watson (P+W) and a joint venture between Mott MacDonald and Ramboll have been selected by Manchester Airports Group to design a 34,000m² arrivals terminal at London Stansted Airport in the UK.

The new terminal building is part of the airport’s £600m ($844.3m) transformation programme.

Mott MacDonald and Ramboll will provide structural and civil engineering, airfield engineering, building services, information and communication technology, and specialist systems for the airport expansion.

The project is expected to be completed by 2022.

ABM has secured a contract from LaGuardia Gateway Partners to provide janitorial services at LaGuardia Airport in New York, US.

The building maintenance and facility solutions provider will deliver services at the existing Terminal B and the future terminal for five years.

Terminal B is currently undergoing a $4bn transformation to accommodate the increasing number of passengers.

Transportes Aereos Portugueses SGPS SA (TAP Portugal) and EgyptAir Airlines Company have agreed to expand their codeshare partnership on European routes to provide better services to their customers.

Pursuant to the deal, EgyptAir will place its ‘MS’ code on flights operated by its partner from Lisbon, Portugal, to destinations in Europe.

The codeshare agreement will help improve EgyptAir’s digital footprint.

Telematics company Pinnacle has been contracted to expand Honeywell Aerospace’s GoDirect connected services to the ground.

The partners will create a connected ramp solution to provide airlines and airports with real-time insights from ground vehicles to increase safety and operational efficiency on the ramp.

Oman Air (SAOC) and Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited have established a codeshare partnership to provide their customers with increased access to Muscat and popular cities in Thailand.

Oman Air will place its ‘WY’ code on Bangkok Airways-operated flights under the codeshare agreement.
