Collinson Airport Alliance launched for enhanced travel experience

Collinson Group has launched Collinson Airport Alliance, which aims to make innovators and service providers involved in the airport ecosystem.

Collinson Group has launched Collinson Airport Alliance, which aims to make innovators and service providers involved in the airport ecosystem.

The alliance hopes to encourage more integrated and improved access to airport experiences.

It will help airport operators and businesses collaborate and solve challenges that visitors can encounter.

It hopes to achieve this by enhancing collaboration between the members of the alliance, standardisation of technology and ‘harnessing the power of this ecosystem’.

The alliance is founded by Collinson, Airport Dimensions, Grab and Inflyter.

Alliance Partners can use the unified interfaces and API standards that will help in the creation of new propositions, bringing them to market more quickly and increasing accessibility to passengers.

Partners can also access 360° insights on traveller behaviour, needs and opportunities,  and tools with Collinson’s registered data and analytics tools.

Collinson Corporate Strategy Officer Mignon Buckingham said: “Working with airports globally to manage loyalty, relationships and the traveller experience, we have come to realise that the experience is still too fragmented and disconnected.

“This increases traveller frustration and dissatisfaction and impedes growth for airport operators and in-airport businesses.

“The Collinson Airport Alliance aims to change that. We’re transforming how the airport customer ecosystem functions, by connecting different parties with a targeted focus under one alliance with common integration standards and interfaces, to deliver a fundamentally enhanced and integrated experience for travellers.”

In September last year, Airport Lounge Development (ALD) rebranded itself Airport Dimensions as part of its strategy to meet the changing needs of travellers.
