Taiwan-based carrier China Airlines (CI) has selected IBS Software to transform its global cargo business through digitisation.

A single platform, IBS’ iCargo solution will serve as the airline’s new cargo management system.

The platform bundles sales, air mail handling and revenue accounting capabilities, along with import and export operations.

The airline will replace its existing cargo solution with this new single tool.

China Airlines Group’s fleet includes 112 aircraft, covering 17 Boeing 747-400 and five Boeing 777 freighters.

The carrier has a workforce of more than 10,000 employees.
