Singapore’s Changi Airport Group will unveil its S$1.7bn ($1.2bn) retail and lifestyle development known as Jewel Changi Airport on 17 April 2019.

The 10-storey tourist destination will include five floors above ground level and an additional five basement floors. It will feature aviation, travel and lifestyle-related facilities for international visitors.

The tourist destination will cover a total area of 137,000m² and will be home to more than 280 shops and food and beverage outlets.

Jewel will feature a glass and steel façade and will be directly connected to Changi Airport’s Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

The retail and lifestyle development will feature a four-storey, lush green Forest Valley, which is said to be one of the largest indoor collections of plants in Singapore.

“We are excited to bring a new dimension to the travel and leisure experience of our visitors.”

“It offers a mix of lush greenery, a scenic waterfall, incredible retail offerings and family play attractions that together make for an unrivalled experience.
