Boeing has secured an order for 24 737-8 MAX aircraft from US-based private investment firm 777 Partners.
As part of the agreement, 777 Partners has options to purchase 60 additional aircraft.
Founded in 2015, the company invests in a host of aviation businesses, including operating carriers and technology-driven solutions.
The aircraft will be leased to 777 Partners’ affiliated operating ultra-low-cost carriers.
With a range of 3,550nm, the Boeing 737-8 reduces fuel use and CO₂ emissions by 16% compared with its predecessors.
The aircraft offers Boeing’s new Sky Interior passenger cabin, featuring modern sculpted sidewalls and window reveals, as well as LED lighting and larger pivoting overhead storage bins.

Last week, Boeing reportedly closed in on securing a multibillion-dollar order for its 737 MAX 7 aircraft from US carrier Southwest Airlines.
