Fixed-base operator (FBO) APP Jet Center has acquired the FBO operations at Witham Field Airport in Stuart, Florida, US.

The company stated that the location complements its existing operations in Fort Pierce, Florida; San Francisco, California; Denver, Colorado; and Manassas, Virginia.

It owns and operates strategically essential aviation infrastructure in major US markets and aims to enhance its platform through organic growth initiatives and complementary acquisitions.

APP Jet Center CEO Dan Harrow said: “We are delighted to be integrating Stuart into APP’s growing network of FBO locations.

“We have been operating along Florida’s Treasure Coast for many years and have firsthand knowledge of the explosive growth for general aviation in South Florida.

“APP will continue to ensure that discerning customers at Stuart and our other FBO locations receive world-class service every day, with a focus on safe, secure and sustainable operations.”

The company stated that the acquisition of FBO operations at Witham Field Airport demonstrates its commitment to continued growth in diverse markets in the country.

It also noted that new infrastructure, as well as other services, will be available at all of its FBO locations.

Last August, APP Jet Center announced the completion of its facilities expansion at Manassas Regional Airport (HEF) in Virginia.

The expansion, named the Hangar East complex, includes 20,000ft² of renovated hangar space as well as a new 20,000ft² hangar. This increased the company’s total hangar space at HEF to 250,000ft².

The Hangar East complex expanded APP’s total portfolio to 700,000ft² of hangar facilities across four locations.
