American Express is set to open its new Centurion Lounge at Terminal 4 of John F Kennedy International Airport in the US.
Spanning an area of more than 15,000ft² across two levels, the new lounge will be located in departures area on the fourth floor.

The lounge will feature a complimentary bar and food menu, premium restrooms and shower suites and quiet workspaces. It is scheduled to be operational by early next year.
American Express global benefits and services vice-president and general manager Josh McKay said: “We aim to elevate our card members’ travel experiences and our industry-leading lounge programme is one of our card members’ favourite ways we do this.
“We look forward to continuing to expand this offering with the Centurion Lounge in JFK and more lounges to come.”
The new lounge will join American Express’ growing network of Centurion Lounges.

By GlobalDataJFK International Air Terminal (JFKIAT) operates Terminal 4 at the John Kennedy Airport, which welcomes more than 21 million passengers every year and accounts for one-third of all traffic at the airport.
More than half of the terminal’s annual passengers are international travellers.
JFKIAT president and CEO Gert-Jan de Graaff said: “Terminal 4 strives to provide passengers with a superior travel experience, and this lounge is a welcome addition to our existing mix of premium terminal amenities.”
