The Government of India has entered a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Adani Group to provide services at three airports in Jaipur, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram.
Under the agreement, the company will be responsible for supplying customs; immigration; security; plant; and animal quarantine services, as well as health and meteorological services at the three airports.

The MoU was signed by the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) joint secretary Rubina Ali and Adani Enterprises senior vice-president Parikshit Kaul.
Adani also reached an agreement with the Centre-run Airports Authority of India to provide communication navigation surveillance-air traffic management (CNS-ATM) services at these three airports.
The agreement was signed by Airports Authority of India (AAI) Air Traffic Services general manager Swaminathan with Parikshit Kaul in the presence of the AAI chairman, board members and senior officials.
In February 2019, the Indian Government privatised six major airports and Adani Group secured rights to operate all the airports for 50 years through a competitive bidding process.

In October and November 2020, the Adani Group took charge of the Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Mangaluru airports.
Recently, the Indian Government informed the Parliament that the company has been given a three-month extension to take over the airports at Jaipur, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram.
The Adani Group had asked for a six-month extension, citing force majeure factors caused due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Last month, the company took charge of Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) from the GVK Group.
