Praise Heaped on Australian Emergency Management Firm
Australian emergency management firm Dynamiq is in the spotlight on the national and international stage after being nominated for a swag of business awards.
The firm is a Telstra Business Award (New South Wales) finalist and has also been nominated for an Australian Business Award, while its CEO Anthony Moorhouse is a finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Central Region) and has been nominated for an Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) 3 Under 33 Award.
Mr Moorhouse said the nominations were a reflection of the firm’s growth and professionalism.
“I’m very happy the hard-working team has been recognised in this way for the important work they do keeping our clients safe,” he said.
“Dynamiq is a complex, round-the-clock operation with a global intelligence network. We’re constantly staffed by experts in medical, security and crisis management who are always ready to deal with any situation, and the fact our work has been noticed internationally is an award in itself. It really shows the high calibre of our staff. Our work recently on the ground in Libya, Egypt and Tunisia proves we are up to the task and can stand up internationally. Although our headquarters is in Sydney, Dynamiq is a growing firm with global reach, and as our name suggests we are going to keep moving and keep changing to meet the needs of our clients around the world.”
Mr Moorhouse has a Master’s Degree in international relations and before founding Dynamiq was a commando counter terrorism commander in the Australian Special Force.
The Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards will be announced on 23 June, the Telstra Business Award will be announced on 8 July, the Australian Business Awards winners will be selected by 1 July and the ACTE 3 under 33 Awards will be announced in August.
