The latest move follows the launch of SKD’s newly expanded and redesigned modern terminal building in March.
This digitalisation includes the installation of TAV Technologies’ software and hardware solutions across all levels of the airport’s business.
The software solutions use artificial intelligence (AI)-driven algorithms to boost the productivity of the new airport resources.
The Total Airport Management Suite (TAMS) from TAV will help SKD manage both land-side and air-side processes aligned with current systems.

Additionally, the TAV Technologies Passenger Flow Management module is said to smoothen the passenger journey.
Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) and Common Use Self Service (CUSS) solutions for passenger transactions are also included in the contract.

The service portfolio of TAV includes key international hubs in more than 15 countries, including Georgia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
The company’s tools such as passport control booths for easy passenger access, air stairs, modern check-in desks and boarding gates, as well as E-gates for departing travellers, support seamless airport operations.
