Travellers at Kansai Airport can scan their boarding pass on their own to enter the airport security check area.

The airport expects the automatic doors to better manage the passenger flows and enable a contactless, optimal and secure travel experience.

Kansai International Airport, a part of the VINCI Airports network, aims to transform and improve the passenger flow and travel experience with the development of Fast Travel.

Earlier this year, Lisbon Airport in Portugal installed seven automatic e-gates.
