The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has completed a $70m, 1.2 million ft² rental car facility at Nashville International Airport in Tennessee, US.
The three-storey building will increase the airport’s rental car capacity by 1,400 to 2,400.

The new car facility will also free up an additional 600 spaces in the short-term garage, and in turn increase its capacity by 30%.
The rental car facility features nine rental car brands; 2,400 ready/return stalls; 10 car wash bays; 21,000ft² of covered walkways for customers walking from the terminal to the facility; and 900 linear feet of moving walkways.
Construction on the facility began in February last year and it is expected to be operational on 1 November 2011.
