Denver International Airport (DIA) served 4.03 million passengers in November 2013, down 3.5% compared to 4.19 million passengers in the same period last year.
International traffic continued to show year-over-year growth with 17% increase as a result of service additions during this period such as nonstop flights from Denver to Tokyo, and Fort McMurray, Canada.

The year-to-date passenger traffic decreased 1.7% to 48.04 million in November 2013, compared 48.84 million passengers in November 2012.
Denver’s manager of aviation Kim Day said: "November traffic continued the trend we have seen over the last few months of lower passenger traffic, largely due to capacity reductions implemented by the airlines this year.
"The late Thanksgiving and short holiday season may have also been a factor. Growth in international traffic was clearly the highlight of 2013 for us."
DIA handled 452.99 million lb of mail, freight and express cargo in November 2013, down 10.9% compared to 475.11 million lb of cargo in November 2012.
