German airline airberlin is set to introduce four new weekly flights in May 2016 between Dusseldorf and Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) from DFW International Airport in Texas, US.

The airline is a member of Oneworld, which is an airline alliance founded on 1 February 1999.

The new flights are part of the airline’s initiative to expand its air routes and traffic to the US and to offer travellers at DFW Airport with more flight options and enjoy better connectivity to Europe.

This will also increase the traffic at the airport, which handles more than 63 million customers every year.

The new flights will operate from the US to Europe on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday every week.

With the new flights, Airberlin is set to introduce a total of 15 additional weekly flights from next summer to and from the US.

The total flights taking off from Dusseldorf and Berlin for eight destinations in the US each week will reach to 58, including new service to Boston and San Francisco.
