Leisure airline Air Canada Rouge has introduced a new seasonal non-stop service from Glasgow Airport in Paisley, Scotland, to Toronto Pearson International Airport in Ontario, Canada.
Air Canada Rouge’s seasonal Glasgow-Toronto flight AC1939 will operate three times every week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, until 25 September.

Scotland’s International Development and Europe Minister Dr Alasdair Allan said: "The launch of this service between Glasgow and Toronto is fantastic news and I’m delighted to see it get off the ground today.
"It will benefit both business travellers and tourists, bringing improved access to international markets, making Scotland even more attractive as a tourist destination.
"I hope this service will help build on the historic and cultural bonds between our two countries. I wish Glasgow Airport and Air Canada Rouge every success with this route."
Air Canada Rouge also currently operates an Edinburgh-Toronto service with up to four flights flying every week throughout the summer period.

The passengers travelling on the flight from Glasgow Airport to Toronto Pearson International will be able to connect with other Air Canada flights that travel to destinations across Canada, the US and throughout the Americas.
Glasgow Airport managing director and AGS Airports chief executive Amanda McMillan said: "Canada has always been a hugely important market for Scotland and the introduction of this new service will provide passengers with access to Air Canada’s extensive route network throughout the Americas."
The new service will boost the growing passenger numbers at Glasgow Airport, which has welcomed more than nine million passengers during a rolling 12-month period.
The airport reported its busiest May ever this year with nearly 830,000 passengers travelling to and from the airport terminals during the month, thereby demonstrating a growth of 5.5% as compared to the passenger traffic during the same period last year.
