Pro Line Fusion

Textron Aviation has integrated its new Beechcraft King Air 350i, 250 and C90GTx turboprop aircraft with Rockwell Collins’ Pro Line Fusion flight deck.

King Air’s Pro Line Fusion features three 14in touchscreen primary flight displays to provide pilots with interactive maps and easy-to-use icons.

The package includes synthetic vision as a standard feature, including Rockwell Collins’ airport dome, and extended runway centrelines with mile markers; maps with flight planning, topography real-time onboard weather radar overlays and special-use airspace and search patterns.

Other components include DO-260B-compliant ADS-B, SBAS-capable GNSS, geo-referenced electronic navigation charts, fast database updates using a standard USB drive and video windows for viewing inputs from enhanced vision system (EVS) or other external cameras.

According to Rockwell Collins, Pro Line Fusion supports software-upgrade approach and also facilitates integrating enhancements such as Rockwell Collins’ HGS-3500 head-up guidance system, EVS-3000 enhanced vision system, MultiScan weather radar and airport moving map.

Pro Line 21 is currently available as an upgrade for fielded King Air aircraft.

Through Textron Aviation’s factory-owned service centres, operators will be able to upgrade to the large Pro Line Fusion touchscreen displays.
