Ink Mobile Agent is an app that manages passenger check-in and baggage services. It is already used by carriers including Jet2, LIFT, and Sunrise.
Ink said its tool moves information away from cumbersome webpages, which require stable internet connections, to a single app which streamlines the customer experience.
According to the firm, the system can manage numerous tasks at the passenger gate, including ”to manage cabin baggage, tags and collecting payments for extra or oversized bags. Print gate tags with a single scan. Take payments with a single action,” its marketing material explained.
“The implementation of Ink Mobile Agent will not only expedite check-in procedures but also help drive better on-time departures, elevating passenger satisfaction,” it added.
