The new Viasat Ku Advanced packages also come with ‘rollover of unused data allowances, regional and hourly service plans and the ability to stream audio and video content’.

According to the company, it is expected to support the productivity of passengers and crew, as well as keep them entertained while improving their experiences throughout the flight journey.

The Viasat service is designed to use satellites to transmit data to and from the aircraft worldwide.

Using existing aircraft wiring, all Viasat business aviation customers can switch to Viasat’s Ka-band system and benefit from Ku Advanced increased speeds with near-global coverage.
