The new carrier will fly Airbus A320 aircraft three times daily from CJJ to Jeju International Airport (CJU) on the southern coast of the Korean peninsula.

Aero K is planning to launch international flights to destinations in Japan, China, Taiwan and Vietnam after the ease of the international travel constraints in connection with the Covid-19 permit.

Swissport Asia senior vice-president Toralf Sonntag said: “Swissport is excited to support the launch of this exciting new entrant to the local market through our second JV in South Korea. We will combine our global expertise and local knowledge to support a successful start of Aero K in April and to ensure a reliable and punctual operation.”

As of now, Swissport is offering airport ground services and air cargo handling to 27 airlines at Incheon International Airport (ICN) in South Korea.
