Telecommunications equipment supplier SITTI is set to install its Multifono M800IP system at Carriel Sur International Airport in Concepción, Chile.

The radio and telephone voice communication system (VCS) will benefit the Chilean air navigation service provider, Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil (DGAC).

As per the customer’s requirement, SITTI M800IP will deliver eight 4W E&M analogue radios in main / standby mode, eight VoIP ED137 radios in main / standby mode and four best signal selection (BSS) modules.

SITTI will also suffice its customer requirement for 20 analogue hotline telephone lines and 30 analogue telephone lines.

Further requirements include delivery of 30 SIP/IP telephone connections and eight controller working positions (CWP).

According to SITTI, the site acceptance test for the system is expected to take place by the end of this year.
