The system will facilitate enhanced real-time information sharing between airport stakeholders and help to drive efficiencies at the airport.

Featuring SITA’s patented technology, SITA Airport Management Solution, the A-CDM solution uses Wipro’s airport technology and delivery expertise to manage operations.

SITA believes that the technology platform will enable the airport, airlines, ground handlers and air traffic management partners to share data in real-time for rapid decision making.

As a result, the airport will benefit from improved turnaround times, optimised use of airport infrastructure and an improved passenger experience.

“The airport will benefit from improved turnaround times, optimised use of airport infrastructure and an improved passenger experience.”

Toronto Pearson welcomed more than 47 million passengers and managed 465,000 aircraft movements last year.

Wipro has been the strategic IT and business transformation partner of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), which manages the airport, since 2016.

Wipro is also said to be a strategic technology partner to three of the top ASQ ranked airports across the globe.

The GTAA aims to start the trial of the A-CDM solution during daily operations by November this year.

The solution optimises the use of resources, improves the predictability of events and aims at improving the overall efficiency of airport operations.

It primarily focuses on aircraft turn-round and pre-departure sequencing processes.
