Aerospace parts and instrument manufacturer Champion Aerospace has signed a products distribution agreement with Airbus services company Satair.
As part of this agreement, Satair will become the global distributor of Champion’s commercial aircraft ignition products.

Champion Aerospace sales and marketing vice-president Herrin Hood said: “We are excited to announce the global expansion of Champion’s air transport distribution agreement with Satair because it will allow us to better serve our customers around the world.
“We are certain that the combination of Champion’s world-leading aerospace ignition products and Satair’s leading global aerospace distribution network will allow us to deliver the highest quality and most reliable products when and where our customers require them.”
Satair will deliver commercial and regional turbine ignition products, including engine igniters, ignition leads, and exciters.
The two companies have been collaborating with each other for several years now and the latest agreement will help Champion strengthen its customer support via Satair’s broad inventory footprint worldwide.

Last year, Satair took over all the global material support and services offered to A220 operators from Airbus Canada Limited Partnership.
