Under the strategic alliance, WIN will develop a manufacturing facility in India in collaboration with IAI, reported The Hindu.

“This partnership will not only strengthen our presence in the growing aerospace sector but will also help us explore emerging business opportunities in key markets.”

The facility will manufacture composite structures adhering with the requirements of global aircraft original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and tier-1 suppliers and the guidelines set by the Indian Government, along with the Ministry of Defence.

WIN CEO Pratik Kumar was quoted by the online publication as saying: “This partnership will not only strengthen our presence in the growing aerospace sector but will also help us explore emerging business opportunities in key markets.”

WIN expects that the investment in the aerospace industry is going to be strategic for its future.
