Helicopter maintenance, manufacturing, repair and overhaul (MMRO) services provider VIH Aerospace (VIHA) has signed an exclusive inventory management and supply chain support agreement with Precision Heliparts Canada (PHP), an affiliate of Precision Aviation Group.
Under the deal, which will be valid until 2019, PHP expects to provide complete supply management and inventory solutions, as well as inventory sales and rotable asset management in support of customer component rental, exchange and leasing requirements to VIH Aerospace.

According to the agreement, VIH Aerospace will provide in-house MRO services for maintenance, repair and overhaul for PHP’s assets and customer-owned assets, which require repair and overhaul support.
PHP Canada vice-president and general manager Kieran Hannan said: "This inventory management and supply chain support agreement enables both companies to expand our global reach and capability set, whilst also together offering world class customer support."
With the deal, which is a part of the company’s strategic growth initiative, VIHA aims to create partnership with industry leaders and extend its ability and services by offering collaboration with other MRO companies.
VIH Aerospace general manager Arne Arneson said: "The objective of entering into this inventory management and supply chain support agreement with PHP is to ensure superior customer service and satisfaction by partnering with a like-minded, progressive organisation.

The company provides several services that include component overhaul, structural repair, avionics and electrical modifications/upgrades/installations, mobile repair teams, manufacturing, aircraft refurbishment and completions, scheduled inspections, paint, product engineering and supplemental type certificate development, as well as parts or special operations equipment sales.
VIHA supports various models of Sikorsky, Bell Helicopter and Airbus-build aircraft.
In addition, the company received Bell Helicopter approval to use its structural repair fixture for third-party repairs on the Bell Helicopter 205A-1, 212, and 412 tail boom assemblies.
