US-based air traffic simulation and voice technology services provider UFA has been selected to deliver an ATTower ATC training solution to the Slovenia Control Training Facility at Ljubljana Airport.

The ATTower ATC training solution will get integrated with the Slovenia Control automation system to allow the controllers to use the same system in their training which is used in actual operational tower setting.

UFA CEO David Wolff said: “The delivery of ATTower integrated with Slovenia Control automation systems is yet another example of the continued interest by our clients to provide their trainees with the highest fidelity training environment.

Under the contract, UFA will provide a multi-channel ATView configuration to display the 3D aerodrome visual model and simulated traffic situation.

The Slovenia Control automation system will provide flight data information, surveillance display and weather information to controllers.

UFA will also deliver four photorealistic 3D airport visual models as part of the contract.

With its headquarters in Burlington in Massachusetts, UFA develops simulation and voice technology products used in air traffic management.

Its broad portfolio of products includes ATTower, ATCoach, ATView, ATVehicle, ATRadio, ATVoice, and ATWorld among others.

It also operates the ATCSim Innovation Centre located in Bavaria, Germany.
