COSYS will provide tailor-made e-freight compliant solutions for cargo handling agents and carriers from the single front-end.
NIIT Technologies Asia-Pacific President Arvind Mehrotra said: "Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services can now cut down time spent on cargo processing and bolster operational efficiency as the system’s intuitive user-interface enables the company to handle all agents and airlines from a centralised platform."
The system can deliver automated service by integrating airlines’ cargo reservations system further simplifying the cargo handling process.

COSYS was initially developed for Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) under a technology partnership through which NIIT deploys and supports COSYS solution to potential clients worldwide.
The SATS-NIIT partnership deploys and maintains COSYS at several airports in Asia, including Singapore, Taiwan, Beijing, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Bangalore.
Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services, the international air cargo terminal operator at Tan Son Nhat International Airport serves 22 international airlines and over 250 freight forwarders.
Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services is constructing a new cargo terminal capable of handling 200,000t of cargo yearly and it will deliver better and more efficient handling of international cargo at the airport.
