US-based equity firm Liberty Hall Capital Partners (Liberty Hall) has acquired Quatro Composites for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 1997, Quatro currently provides highly engineered advanced composite structures, components and assemblies to the aerospace industry, as well as medical and industrial markets.

“Quatro not only provides AIM further customer, platform and geographic diversification but also extends AIM’s capabilities into structural composites and thermoplastics."

With a manufacturing centre in Iowa and a business innovation centre in California, Quatro serves various aerospace platforms such as the Boeing 787, Gulfstream G650 and Insitu X300.

Upon completion, Quatro will be integrated into Liberty Hall’s aerospace-grade composite ducting, substructural and interiors parts supplying unit, AIM Aerospace.

Last August, the company purchased ZTM, a supplier of large, complex metallic parts and assemblies for the global aerospace industry.
