Thailand-based carrier Jet Asia Airways has received the delivery of its sixth Boeing 767, the first of the aircraft series in its fleet.

Registered as HS-JAS at its main base in Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Boeing 767-300ER is powered by Rolls-Royce engines.

HS-JAS is painted in a special livery, and can accommodate 268 passengers.

Boeing 767-300ER, the extended-range variant of the 767-300, is 6.43m (21ft) longer than the 767-200ER aircraft, and offers a range of up to 11,389km.

As of October 2013, Boeing has delivered 582 300ERs.

Jet Asia Airways aims to increase the seat capacity on its Tokyo route with the introduction of the Boeing 767-300ER series.

In September 2013, Jet Asia Airways has received its fifth Boeing 767 aircraft, the 767-200ER, registered HS-JAF at its main base.

The delivery of this aircraft was in line with the carrier’s expansion plans which include increased frequencies to China, and continued services to South Korea and Japan.

Founded in February 2009, Jet Asia Airways operates a wide-body fleet of Boeing 767 aircraft.

The airline specialises in block charter, full charter, ad-hoc and wet lease (ACMI) operations.
