The primary radar will be installed along with a mode S secondary radar previously deployed by Indra.

However, the secondary radar will be relocated to increase CORPAC’s control over a new runway, which is being developed as part of the airport’s expansion plans.

"The simulator will offer 360° visuals and simulate virtual aircraft and tower approach manoeuvres, as well as pilot-controller communications."

Under the terms of the second contract, the company will deliver an upgraded 3D control tower simulator for the city’s air traffic controller training centre.
