Gerald R Ford International Airport (GFIA) in Michigan, US, has completed the first phase of its Gateway Transformation Project, which began in December 2015.

The first phase of the project combined the airport's security screening areas into one consolidated passenger security checkpoint, removing the need for passengers travelling through either Concourse A or B to be screened separately.
