As a cooperative partner, flydubai worked with Boeing to finalise the functionality and operability of the mobile products that will integrated with the airline’s maintenance planning systems.

Boeing Digital Aviation Fleet and Maintenance Solutions director John Maggiore: "This integrated and streamlined mobile access to information at the airplane via mobile devices will enable the maintenance and engineering teams at flydubai to accommodate the high utilisation rates and tight operations schedules for the fleet."

"By making these maintenance efficiency improvements, we will be better positioned to effectively manage our operations to scale more easily and accommodate our planned fleet growth."

The mobile maintenance applications offer real-time, mobile access to technical manuals, part numbers and parts inventory availability, maintenance history, as well as other information required to support maintenance tasks.

In addition, technicians can take advantage of the two-way collaboration capabilities to quickly share documents, photos, along with other information required to troubleshoot issues, support operations decisions and improve maintenance turn times.
