Eurocopter South East Asia has secured a third EC225 order, with an option for one more, from Southern Service Flight Company (SSFC) of Vietnam will use the helicopter to enhance its fleet for offshore oil and gas operations.
The EC225 is a high-performance heavy twin-engine helicopter in the 10t-11t category, which can cater for up to 24 passengers.

The EC225 is generally used for offshore and passenger transport missions, as well as search and rescue operations.
The order is scheduled to be delivered in early 2013.
In addition to the EC225s, SSFC has four AS332 L2 heavy twin-engine helicopters, which are members of Eurocopter’s Super Puma family.
