Under the flight hour pool programme, Aerolíneas is expected to realise savings on repair and inventory carrying costs, and a reduction in required warehousing space.

It will also remove the need for resources for repair management as well as provide guaranteed performance levels.

Embraer said that its flight hour pool programme is designed to allow Aerolíneas to minimise its upfront investment on expensive repairable inventories and resources.
