CIT Group has signed an agreement with Embraer to buy up to 30 E190 and / or E195 jets, which includes ten firm orders.

The E190 and the E195, which can be configured in one or two classes, can seat up to 98 to 122 passengers and can fly up to 2,400 nautical miles (4,450 kilometres) non-stop.

The Embaraer jet will enter into CIT Group’s CIT Aerospace fleet, which owns or finances a fleet of approximately 300 commercial aircraft.

The deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled through 2015.
