Changi Airport is adopting Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) to improve airport airside flow and capacity management. The installation of the sequence planner is a part of A-CDM.

"The OSYRIS Pre-Departure Sequence Planner minimises aircraft queue lengths and taxiing time to deliver a highly predictable flow of traffic to the runways."

Exelis Orthogon managing director Frank Koehne said: "The OSYRIS Pre-Departure Sequence Planner minimises aircraft queue lengths and taxiing time to deliver a highly predictable flow of traffic to the runways.

"It achieves this while considering the operational constraints on the airport surface and in the surrounding airspace. Ultimately, we look forward to improving passenger and airline satisfaction by ensuring more predictable departure schedules and fewer airport delays."

A-CDM is a joint venture between ACI Europe, Eurocontrol, International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) which aims at enhancing the operational efficiency of all airport operators including airport and aircraft operators, ground handlers, air traffic control and network operations.
