Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron company, has unveiled the new Citation Latitude mid-size business jet worth $14.9m.

The new eight-passenger business jet has space for a crew of two and offers a full fuel payload of 1,000lb, a maximum cruise speed of 442kts and a range of 2,000nm.

The Citation Latitude features Garmin G5000 avionics and a clean-sheet, 84in fuselage for a 6ft-high, flat floor passenger cabin.

The first flight is expected to occur by mid-year 2014, with FAA certification and entry into service expected in 2015.
