
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has extended its authorised service facility (ASF) contract with Australia-based maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider Hawker Pacific for an additional five years.
According to the extension, Hawker Pacific will provide authorised service for base and other maintenance services on all Bombardier Dash 8/Q series aircraft, as well as aircraft modifications and upgrades.
Hawker Pacific Asia-Pacific region chief operating officer Doug Park said: "Since 2007, we have been offering economical, pertinent, on-time aircraft maintenance solutions to operators of Bombardier’s Dash 8/Q Series aircraft."
Bombardier stated that with more than 360 Q Series turboprops, CRJ regional jets and C series aircraft now in service or on firm order from around 50 customers and operators in the Asia-Pacific region, the company’s presence in the region is increasing gradually.
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft customer services vice-president and general manager Todd Young said: "Hawker Pacific has been providing maintenance expertise and first-class customer service to our Asia-Pacific aircraft operators for over eight years and has a reputation for consistently meeting our customers’ needs. I am confident that this level of service will continue."
The company has regional offices in Singapore, and Shanghai, China, and Hawker Pacific, along with its local counterparts, operates authorised service facilities in China and India.
