Boeing subsidiary Aviall has extended a contract with UTC Aerospace Systems to distribute airframe pneumatic de-icers, de-ice system hardware and propeller de-ice product lines.
The products to be distributed under the new deal also include Goodrich FASTboot and SILVERboot pneumatic de-icers.

The new deal has enabled Aviall to become the sole stocking distributor of UTC Aerospace Systems’ de-icer products.
UTC Aerospace Systems business development, sensors and integrated systems vice-president Mark Skarohlid said: "By entering this agreement with Aviall, we are solidifying the ease of doing business with UTC Aerospace Systems.
“Our customers will continue to benefit from increased parts availability, improved delivery times and a simplified customer experience."
The Goodrich pneumatic de-icing systems offer several performance and aesthetic criteria for the aviation sector.

By GlobalDataThe products provide better performance and reliability features, including fluid resistance, lightweight construction, surface or recessed mounting options, a smooth surface, tapered edges and built-in protection against ozone, weathering, oxidation and erosion.
Goodrich de-icers also help to improve environmental impact by reducing chemical usage through a pre-applied pressure sensitive adhesive on their FASTboot pneumatic de-icers.
Aviall president and CEO Eric Strafel said: "This agreement will reinforce our commitment and ability to serve general aviation, business aviation and commercial customers with extended availability of a high-quality, environmentally progressive product line."
Aviall currently markets and distributes products for more than 240 manufacturers and provides around two million catalogue items from 40 customer service centres in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The company had recently been contracted to distribute Weldon pumps worldwide.
Under the deal, Aviall will distribute Series 18000 and 19000 pumps for general aviation applications.
