Faroe Islands carrier Atlantic Airways has accepted the delivery of Airbus A320, becoming the manufacturer's latest operator of the aircraft.
The airline has ordered the A320 as part of its plan to increase capacity.
The new aircraft is equipped with CFM engines and will be deployed on routes from the Faroe Islands to Copenhagen.
Atlantic Airways passengers will benefit from the newest cabin comfort throughout the cabin in a single-class layout with 168 18in-wide seats as standard.
The company further explained that they have selected A320 for its unrivalled economics, performance and operability in challenging environmental and geographical conditions.
They further added that the aircraft is equipped with Required Navigation Performance (RNP), which enables the aircraft to accurately fly along predefined routes using on-board navigation systems.
