US-based Airport Lounge Development (ALD) has opened a new lounge, The Club, at Boston Logan International Airport in Terminal E.

The new opening is ALD’s second lounge at the US airport and 14th location worldwide.

ALD senior vice-president Nancy Knipp said: “Boston Logan International Airport celebrated a new passenger record last year welcoming the 36 millionth passenger.

“With the airport now serving 53 international and 75 domestic destinations, we see this as the perfect time to increase our presence in Boston, delivering passengers with the best lounge experience available.”

ALD's The Club in Terminal E has been divided into two 'phases', with the current phase offering a wide range of amenities, such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, Wi-Fi and a variety of reading materials.

The company intends to complete the second phase, which will offer 3,506ft2 of space and accommodate nearly 67 guests, by this year.
