As well as removing the need to install temporary drywall partitions for each phase of the project, the modular walls will reduce £1.2 million of waste from Great Hall Renovation Project.

“The wall panels are extremely user-friendly; once you learn the system, you will fly through the install each day.”

As one of the Great Hall Partners in a public-private partnership (P3), including Ferrovial Airports and JLC Infrastructure, Saunders selected McCain Walls to save time and reduce material waste related to industry-standard drywall.

In association with PanAmar, affiliated project sales representative McCain Manufacturing delivered on-site technical support and ensured that McCain Walls were the best fit for the project’s needs.

Saunders carpenter foreman Tyler Ochs said: “The wall panels are extremely user-friendly; once you learn the system, you will fly through the install each day.

“My team was able to complete about 400ft in a six-hour window. It was amazing. McCain Walls, really, can be installed by anyone. And I would recommend them to anyone who has temporary wall needs.”

It is estimated that McCain Manufacturing will save its client 28,000 linear feet of drywall over the life of the renovation project.

McCain Walls will also reduce the airport’s environmental impact by decreasing indoor air quality impact and removing drywall’s potential negative impact on landfills.

McCain Walls were deployed to Level 5 Baggage Claim in DEN. Construction of the Great Hall will be carried out in four phases.
