Authorised airport and city personnel and ticketed passengers and their guests will be allowed access throughout each day of the week.

The airport noted that anyone who violates the restrictions will be asked to leave. Those who refuse to comply will be subject to arrest and misdemeanor prosecution.

Previously, LAX implemented a nighttime closure policy that restricted access to the general public between midnight and 5am.

Other airports, including Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Baltimore / Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), have also restricted access to the general public.
